About add a chain
Adding a network to a wallet means giving it a chain ID, an RPC endpoint, a currency and an explorer. Wallets expose a request for exactly this, so it takes one click rather than a form. The public RPC shown here is enough to get connected. Public endpoints are also rate-limited and see every request you make; a private endpoint does not.

How do I add a network to MetaMask or a similar wallet?
Pick the chain here and approve the wallet_addEthereumChain prompt your wallet shows. That prompt supplies chain ID, RPC and explorer; your wallet still decides whether to accept the request.
Is every RPC in the list safe?
Public RPCs can log IPs and request contents, and a malicious RPC can lie about chain state. Prefer endpoints you trust for high-value accounts. Adding a chain is configuration, not a security audit of the operator.
Why does my wallet reject the add request?
Usually a mismatched chain ID, an HTTP RPC when the wallet wants HTTPS, or a duplicate network you already added under another name. The wallet error is authoritative; this page only sends the request.
