About address book
A labelled list of addresses kept in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is synced, and no account exists — which also means clearing site data deletes it, and an export is the only copy that survives that. Useful for the handful of addresses you send to repeatedly, where the real risk is pasting the wrong one rather than anything cryptographic.
Common questions
Where are saved addresses stored?
In this browser local storage on your device. They are not uploaded to ihategas, not synced to an account — there is no account — and not visible to our servers. Clearing site data clears the book.
Can another device see my address book?
Not through us. There is no cloud backup on this product. If you need the same labels elsewhere, export or copy them yourself — and never paste seed phrases into a sync form claiming to help.
Does saving an address verify it is safe?
No. Labels are reminders, not screening. A book entry can still point at a drainer or a mistyped key. Use the address tools and drainer scan when the question is validity or reputation.
