Name Lookup
ENS both ways — name to address, or address to primary name.

About name lookup
Resolves an ENS name to an address, or an address back to its primary name. The two directions mean different things. Anyone can point a name at any address, so a name resolving somewhere proves only that its owner set it. A primary name is stronger, because only the address itself can set that. Either way it is the address that moves the money, and a name is a pointer its owner can repoint at any time — including after you saved it.
Common questions
How do I resolve an ENS name to an address?
Paste the name or the address for reverse lookup. This reads the Ethereum Name Service registries and returns the forward or primary reverse record when one exists — both directions on the same page.
Why does an ENS name show the wrong address?
Because whoever controls the name can point it anywhere, including at a lookalike of a brand you trust. Always confirm the address characters, not only the human name, before you send value.
Does ENS resolution require a wallet connection?
No. It is a public read. Connecting is unrelated to looking up records. Paying to register or edit names is a different tool surface and is not required for resolution.
