an address, a hash, a name, a selector

Paste whatever is in your clipboard — an address, a hash, a name or a selector — and this names what it is and which tools take it.

About universal search

One box for whatever is in your clipboard. It works out whether you have an address, a transaction hash, a name, a selector or a Solana address, then points you at the tools that can actually answer questions about that kind of thing — rather than making you remember which of them applies.

Common questions

What can I paste into universal search?

Addresses, transaction hashes, ENS names, token contracts and similar identifiers. The page names what you pasted and points at the tools that accept it — so you spend less time guessing which route takes a hash versus an address.

Does search send what I paste to your servers?

Classification runs in the client against public patterns and local registries where possible. Tools you click through still follow their own privacy shapes, including fragment routes like /a#. There is no account-based search history on ihategas.

Why did search not recognise my input?

Because it did not match the shapes this site knows — wrong length, wrong charset, or a chain this product does not handle. A failure to classify is better than a confident misroute to the wrong tool.
