Add a Token
Runs offlineAdd a token to your wallet from its contract address.
USDC is 6, most are 18
optional
Adding a token only makes your wallet display it. It grants nothing and proves nothing — anyone can deploy a contract calling itself USDC. Confirm the address against the issuer before you trade against it.
About add a token
Wallets only display tokens they have been told about, so a balance you cannot see is usually just a missing entry rather than a missing balance. This sends the token's details to your wallet in one request. Worth being clear about what it does not do: adding a token grants nothing and proves nothing, and anyone can deploy a contract calling itself USDC. Only the issuer's own published address settles which contract is the real one.
