Most mobile wallets open an EIP-681 link straight into a prepared send screen with the amount filled in. Desktop support is patchier — the recipient still has to check the address on their own device before confirming, because a link is only ever a suggestion.

About payment link

EIP-681 encodes a payment request as a URI: recipient, chain, amount, and for tokens the transfer call itself. Most mobile wallets open one straight into a prepared send screen, which removes the copy-paste step where clipboard malware does its work. It does not remove the recipient's obligation to check the address on their own device — a link is a suggestion, not an authorisation.
