Bitcoin has no accounts. A payment destroys a set of unspent outputs and creates new ones, paying any remainder back to you as change, and choosing which outputs to spend is a job your wallet is already built to do. So it does it: this page hands your wallet a recipient, an amount and a fee rate, and the wallet selects the outputs, builds the transaction, signs it and broadcasts it. No key, no seed phrase and no transaction is ever constructed here, which removes an entire category of things that could go wrong with your money. What this page does add is the check before the handover — the recipient is parsed and its checksum verified, its type and network are named, and an amount below the dust limit for that address type is refused rather than broadcast into a transaction the network will not relay. The recipient and the amount appear again on your wallet's own confirmation screen. A compromised web page can lie about both; the wallet screen is the one that cannot.

How do I send Bitcoin to someone?
You need their address and a Bitcoin wallet holding the coins. This page checks the address, verifies its checksum, names its type and refuses an amount below the network's dust limit — then hands the payment to your own wallet, which selects the outputs, builds the transaction, signs it and broadcasts it. No key or seed phrase is ever entered here.
How much does it cost to send Bitcoin?
Bitcoin charges by transaction size in bytes rather than by amount, so moving 0.001 BTC and 100 BTC cost exactly the same. Size depends on your address type and on how many separate unspent outputs the wallet has to gather, which is why a wallet holding many tiny outputs can cost more in fees to empty than the outputs are worth.
Can a Bitcoin transaction be cancelled?
Not once it is in a block. While it is still unconfirmed in the mempool it can sometimes be replaced by a higher-fee version of itself, but that depends on the original having signalled replaceability and on your wallet supporting it. Treat a broadcast payment as final.
