Bitcoin has no accounts. A payment destroys a set of unspent outputs and creates new ones, paying any remainder back to you as change, and choosing which outputs to spend is a job your wallet is already built to do. So it does it: this page hands your wallet a recipient, an amount and a fee rate, and the wallet selects the outputs, builds the transaction, signs it and broadcasts it. No key, no seed phrase and no transaction is ever constructed here, which removes an entire category of things that could go wrong with your money. What this page does add is the check before the handover — the recipient is parsed and its checksum verified, its type and network are named, and an amount below the dust limit for that address type is refused rather than broadcast into a transaction the network will not relay. The recipient and the amount appear again on your wallet's own confirmation screen. A compromised web page can lie about both; the wallet screen is the one that cannot.
