Testnet tokens have no value and anyone offering to sell you some, or asking for mainnet funds to unlock a faucet, is running a scam. A faucet never needs your seed phrase and never needs you to sign anything.
About testnet faucets
Fifteen testnet faucets across thirteen networks, grouped by network, with what each one asks of you — some want an account, some want a wallet with mainnet history, some want you to mine briefly in the browser. The list is written by hand, because faucets appear and disappear constantly and nothing tracks them reliably, and nothing here re-checks a link: one that has gone dead stays on the list until the list is edited. Testnet tokens have no value, so anyone selling them or asking for mainnet funds to unlock one is running a scam.
Common questions
What is a testnet faucet?
A service that sends small amounts of worthless testnet coin so you can deploy and experiment without buying mainnet assets. Faucets rate-limit, require social proof, or dry up — which is why this list is curated rather than scraped.
Why did a faucet refuse me?
Usually a cooldown, a captcha, a region block, or an empty treasury. None of those are controlled from this page; we only link faucets that were working when last checked, and a dead faucet is removed when it stays dead.
Is testnet ETH worth anything?
No. It cannot be bridged into mainnet value through this site, and anyone offering to buy your testnet funds is running a scam. Testnets exist for development, not for profit.
